My Journey
I spent most of my childhood summers either up north in the wilderness with my parents in a canoe, hopping from island to island or in a tent at Fort Qu’Appelle. My dad was an outdoor education professor and I played in nature while he supervised students and established first nations teacher training in the province. I had mentors who appreciated Mama Earth and I learned about her grace, beauty and sustenance.
How scents and plant energy intermingle with humans fascinates me. I love working with root energy in the soil and with our root chakra. My family openly discussed sexuality and I learned as much as I could about it. My husband and I were fortunate to have encountered the sympto-thermal method of fertility regulation through our marriage preparation course. We have practiced this method throughout our marriage to prevent pregnancy and to conceive our three children. We both wrote an exam to qualify as fertility regulation teachers. I love assisting people to become acquainted with a woman’s monthly cycle which is, in its healthiest manifestation, aligned with the light and dark waxing and waning of the moon and the seasons.
I’ve always felt energy through my physical body, and through clairvoyance, dreams, and visions. In 2019, as the world was transforming, these abilities began to amplify. I was blessed with beautiful dreams and wonderful visions of the future of our planet as a loving, equitable place. Most nights before falling asleep, I channeled the details about human evolution in the near future and the ascension of Mama Earth as we become more conscious alongside her. I was seeing gorgeous sun halos and rainbow light in the sky every day
I feel that everything has led me to where I am today. I’ve always loved playing in the mud, and made herbal mud pies as a toddler! I began to communicate with plants as I was studying Rosemary Gladstar’s Science and Art of Herbalism course. Plants were showing up in my yard a day or two after I called them in. They were coming to me in visions and dreams, telling me that I needed to cultivate them in my garden or take them myself. After graduating from my herbalism course, specific plants would come into my mind, urging me to use them for people that had asked for my help in choosing herbs for their healing journey. I began experiencing these people’s most pervasive symptom before they came to visit me. With people’s permission, I begin to channel information about what they might want to consider for deep spiritual healing.
I have developed two sexual lubricants - a water and aloe based sexual lubricant called Pink Heaven Yin Yang Glide and heart-shaped, edible chocolate lubricants called Venus Hearts, made by local chocolatier, Julianna Tan, of “Those Girls at the Market”. I am an internationally certified skincare graduate with Formula Botanica in the UK. I have ongoing professional training with them through my Advanced Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation and from their online classroom and The Lab. I continue to study herbalism alongside elder herbal mentors.
